Change your password, check for updates, link Discord, and sign out.

In the Kith Workshop desktop app

The Account page is the housekeeping. Your sign-in, your Discord link, your display name, updates, and the way into this guide.

What is on it

Section	What it is for
Signed in	Which account you are using.
Discord	Link or unlink your Discord identity.
Display name	The name other people see on shared things.
Change password	Set a new password.
App updates	Check for and install updates.
Help	The 📖 Training Guide button — this guide, inside the app.
Sign out	End the session.

Linking Discord

This is the one that matters most. Your Discord identity is what ties the app to the rest of Kith.

With Discord linked, the app can show your LFG runs, your Market activity and your orders. Without it, those tools work but cannot tell who you are.

Tip: Unlinking does not delete anything. It just stops the app matching you to your Discord identity until you link again.

Changing your password

Updates

The Workshop checks on its own, but you can force it:

Note: Updating does not touch your saved data — inventories, builds, linked characters and settings all survive.

Signing out

Signs you out and returns to the login screen. Your data stays on the machine; you will not lose anything.

If something goes wrong

Problem	What to do
Discord link will not complete	The browser window needs to finish and return to the app. Do not close it early.
Password change is rejected	The current password is wrong, or the new one does not meet requirements.
"Check for updates" finds nothing but you know there is one	Releases roll out in stages. Wait, or reinstall from the download page.
Your display name is not what shows in Discord	They are separate. This one is for Kith; Discord's is Discord's.
