🎲 Loot — the three ways
Group roll, Need/Greed and pick order explained from both sides: what a member presses, what the leader presses, the wish list, the wrap-up window, and how ties and no-shows are handled.
Every run decides its loot in front of the whole group, on the run page and in the run's Discord thread at the same time. Which buttons you see depends on one choice the leader made when posting: the loot rule. There are three, and you only ever need to know the one your run is using.
- Only attendees are in. Whoever the leader has marked attended when the loot is decided — no-shows are out; people marked late are in.
- Drops are recorded on the run by the leader (or the desktop app's chat-log watcher), each with an optional boss, stats, and a price. See Leading a run.
- You can add your own drop's stats from in-game group chat —
!stat min=37 max=83 spd=-0.12— so the group can tell two of the same item apart before anyone rolls. See Chat-log Loot Watcher. - The wish list — up to five drops you want from this instance, in order, under 🎯 Wish list on the run page (or the Discord card's button). If a drop you wished for is uncontested at the end, it is yours even if you are away. If two people wish for the same drop, it is decided by the mode's normal rule between them. Tick Remember for [instance] and the list comes back next time.
- Junk is not rolled. Trash-tier items (isomerase enzymes, unknown crystal fragments) are left unclaimed without a roll unless the leader promotes them.
- Nobody wants it → unclaimed. A drop with no claim, no wish and no roll stays with the leader as unclaimed, not forced on anyone.
- Winners collect from the leader and press Received; the bot reminds both after 24 hours if it is still held.
- Value received — when a run is Done, the run page totals what each attendee took away, using market and SEA estimates. It is information, not a rule.
The default, and the closest to the old way.
As a member: nothing to press. Add wishes if you like.
As the leader: on any drop, click 🎲 Roll whenever you want — mid-run is fine. Every attendee rolls a d100; the numbers appear on the run page and as a card in the thread. A tie re-rolls among only the tied players, in public, until it breaks. If only one attendee is eligible, the drop is simply assigned to them ("assigned without a roll"). To hand a drop to someone without a roll, use the assign… menu — a reason is required and is logged.
When you are done, Wrap up loot opens the 3-minute window (below); anything still pending is proposed and rolled at Distribute now.
For groups that want upgrades to go to the people who will use them.
As a member: each drop opens a claim — on the run page and on a card in the thread — with three buttons: ✅ Need (it is an upgrade for me), 💰 Greed (I would like it), ➖ Pass. You can change your mind while the claim is open. A tally shows who has chosen and who is still ⏳ waiting.
How it resolves: Need beats Greed. If anyone pressed Need, the d100 roll is among the Needers only; otherwise among the Greeders; if nobody claimed, the drop is left unclaimed. A claim closes when everyone has chosen, when the leader presses ⚖ Resolve now, or 15 minutes after it opened — anyone who has not answered by then counts as Pass.
As the leader: you can resolve any claim early; the confirm dialog reminds you that silence counts as Pass. At the end, Wrap up loot settles any claim still open and opens the 3-minute window.
For big loot tables, or a group that likes to plan. The group agrees an order, then takes turns choosing — like a draft — and the order snakes: first to last, then last to first.
The leader's desk has a Pick order block:
- Auto (default): a d100 is rolled for every attendee the moment the run sets out. The result stays sealed — nobody, including the leader, sees it — until picking starts. Nothing for anyone to do.
- Manual: the leader arranges the roster by hand and clicks 📢 Request approval. Everyone on the roster sees 🗳 Approve the pick order with the list and Approve / Deny buttons (and gets a DM). The run cannot set out until a majority approves; a member can change their vote until then; if the leader edits the order the vote starts over. The leader can always fall back to 🎲 Use auto roll instead.

As drops are recorded, every attendee's run page grows 📋 Rank the drops. Drag the drops you want into your order (or use ▲ ▼); leave the rest under Unranked. Each row shows the boss, the item's stats (so two Decrepit Blades with different Min/Max/Speed are distinguishable) and the price. Your wish list is a good starting point.
When the leader presses Start picks the order is revealed (auto rolls and all) as a card in the thread, and the draft begins:
- A turn card appears in the thread for the current picker — Turn #3 — @Name, your pick. 5 item(s) left — with a menu of the remaining drops, ➖ Pass, and 📋 Rank. The same picker sees Your pick with a Take it button on the run page.
- They choose, or pass. The card is struck through with the result and the next turn card appears. The order snakes: after the last person picks, the last person picks again and it runs back to the first.
- A picker who does nothing for 15 minutes has the turn taken for them — their top ranked drop still available, or the highest-value drop left. Passing never ends the draft; it just moves on.
- When the last drop is taken the draft is over and the run wraps up on its own.
As the leader, during the draft: ⏭ Skip their turn moves a stalled picker on (they lose that pick). ⏹ End picks & wrap up ends the draft early — the confirm dialog tells you how many drops remain; they are rolled among attendees and the run wraps up.

Group-roll and Need/Greed runs end with Wrap up loot. (Pick-order runs end through the draft and skip this.)

- The leader presses Wrap up loot → Open wrap-up. The run page and the thread show the window with a 3-minute countdown; every attendee is pinged once.
- Every still-pending drop is listed with a proposed winner and the rule that chose them — a wish list, a Need, a Greed, or "open" if it will be rolled. If the proposal is you by your wish list, you see yours by list.
- Members can still press Need / Greed / Pass on any drop during the window. If you say nothing, your wish list stands.
- The leader can extend (+2 minutes a press), override any proposal from the override… menu (assign to someone, Re-roll, or Unclaimed — a reason is required and logged), and finally press Distribute now.
- When the countdown ends the window distributes itself, so a leader who is pulled away does not block anyone.
Distribution writes every assignment, rolls the open ones, credits attendance, DMs each winner what they won, posts the results card to the channel, and sets the run to Done.
