🧭 Wayfinder — the LFG bot

Every /lfg command and every card, button and DM the bot sends — post, join, loot, rank and wrap up without leaving Discord.

In Discord

Wayfinder runs the Shuttleport from inside Discord. Everything on the web board can be done here with /lfg or with the buttons on a run's card, and the two stay in step — post a run in Discord and it is on the website immediately, and the other way round.

Tip: The board, the bot and the desktop LFG tool are three doors into one system. Use whichever is already open. Most people never type a command: the run card's buttons do the daily work.

First, once

Command	What it does
`/lfg timezone zone:`	Set your zone (it autocompletes). Same setting as the website. Every "tonight 8pm" you ever type is read in it.
`/lfg subscribe instance: role:`	DM me when a run for this instance needs this role. `/lfg unsubscribe` lists and removes them.
`/lfg calendar`	Two calendar links — the guild feed of every public run, and a private feed of just your signups.

Careful: Your personal calendar link is a capability URL: anyone who has it can read your feed. Do not paste it in a channel.

The run card

#lfg-runs holds one pinned board — a table of every run forming or underway (run, heroic, state, when, leader, seats) with a link to each run's thread — and nothing else. Every run has its own thread named after the flight number (BLR-4417); the run card is pinned at the top of that thread, and everything about the run — seats, loot, rolls, wrap-up — happens there. The card's colour is its state — blue forming, orange gathering, teal underway, green wrap-up — and it shows the roster per role, the notes and the loot rule. The drops live in three loot posts directly under the card in the thread — 🎲 Loot to roll, 🚫 Excluded by leader and 📦 Other drops — and every one of them re-renders the moment the leader records, excludes, restores, promotes, rolls or assigns a drop, so the thread is always the current state of the loot.

❔ Tentative	Forming	Hold the seat but say you are not sure yet.
Withdraw	Forming / Underway	Give the seat up. Do this rather than not showing up.
📨 Invite	Forming	Invite a member (leader).
⋯ Console	Forming / Underway	The leader's controls: set out, attendance, loot, pick order, ⇄ Move a member to the right seat, 🗺 Add heroic to widen the session, and — once underway — ➕ Add a member… and 🎲 Roll what's dropped (see Leading a run).
🎯 Wish list	Forming / Underway	Up to five drops you want from this instance. Stands in for you at wrap-up.
📋 Rank	Underway, pick-order runs	Rank the recorded drops for the draft.
⏳ Wrap up loot	Underway, other runs	Open the 3-minute decision window (leader).

Once a run is Done, the card has no buttons — it is the record.

Posting a run

/lfg create instance:Axkva Min when:tonight 8pm

Option	What it does
instance	Which heroic. Autocompletes. In the Post a Run form (the panel button) the Instance field takes up to six heroics — the first pick is the run's main heroic, the rest join the same session, exactly like 🗺 Add heroic later.
when	Plain language: `tonight 8pm`, `saturday 7`, `tomorrow 21:30`, `+2h`. Blank = forming now. Read in your timezone.
character · role	The seat you are taking yourself.
tanks · healers · squadleads · battlemeds · ranged · melee	Seats per role. Blank = the instance's default group.
notes	Requirements, what you are skipping, anything people should know first.
threshold	Ping everyone once this many people are signed on — "the hunt is on".
loot	`roll` (default) · `needgreed` · `pickorder`. See Loot — the three ways.
learning	Flags it 🎓 as a teaching run.
series	`weekly` or `biweekly` — re-posts itself. Needs a real time.
private	🔒 Invite-only — off the public board.
extra_instances	Other heroics this one session clears, comma-separated. Each is credited.

You can have at most three runs forming or underway at once.

Note: Set /lfg timezone before your first post. A run posted in the wrong zone is the most common reason people miss a departure.

Right-click any message → Apps → Convert to LFG post turns "anyone want to run Axkva at 8?" into a real run with the message as its notes.

Finding and joining

Command	What it does
`/lfg browse [instance]`	The board in a channel, just for you.
`/lfg mine`	Your rank card and the runs you are in or leading.
`/lfg profile [member]`	Anyone's rank card — tier, progress, badges, clears, loadout.
`/lfg drops instance:`	Measured drop rates per boss — kills, drops, % and days since the last one.
`/lfg wants` (or `/lfg wish`)	Your wish list for a run you are on.

Tip: Inside a run's thread, run: is optional on wants, wish, rank, edit, cancel and loot — the command takes the thread's run. Everything in a run — joining, loot, claims, the wrap-up, receiving — can be done from its thread without opening the website or the desktop app.

Take a seat with the role buttons on the run's card. You get a DM confirming the seat, and a reminder before departure.

Managing a run you posted

Command	What it does
`/lfg edit [run:]`	Change the time, notes or threshold while forming.
`/lfg cancel [run:]`	Call it off, with a reason. Everyone signed on is DM'd.
`/lfg invite member: [run:]`	Invite someone directly. Also: right-click a user → Apps → Invite to my run.
`/lfg poll question: option1: option2: [option3] [option4] [hours]`	Ask when people are free before committing. When the poll closes the bot offers Convert winner to run.
`/lfg panel`	Post the standing control panel (Post a Run · Runs · My Runs · Leaderboard · Alerts · Timezone · From Template) into a channel. Needs Manage Server.

The ⋯ Console button on the card is where a leader sets out, marks no-shows, records drops, adds heroics to the session and runs the loot — the same controls as the web's leader's desk. See Leading a run.

What the bot does for you at set-out

Everyone signed on is marked attended; the leader fixes exceptions from the console.
A private 🔊 voice channel opens for the roster and is posted in the thread; it is removed after the run.
Each attendee gets a wheels-up DM with the voice and thread links.

Loot

Command	What it does
`/lfg loot add [run:] item: [boss:]`	Record a drop (catalogue autocompletes; off-list names are kept as custom). If the leader runs the desktop app's chat-log watcher, drops are recorded automatically from the game's own loot messages, and anyone on the run can add a drop's stats by typing `!stat min=37 max=83 spd=-0.12` in group chat — see Chat-log Loot Watcher.
`/lfg loot remove [run:] item:`	Take one off.
⋯ Console → loot → the item	The leader's per-drop controls: 🎲 Roll, 📦 Assign…, 📦 Leave unclaimed, ↻ Price, 📐 Stats (a form for the drop's rolled values — augment Stat/Value, decrepit min/max/speed, Champion's pickers), ⬆ Promote to roll on an Other drop, 🗑 Remove. The console also has 📋 Crew wish lists (and 📋 Crew ranks on pick-order runs).
`/lfg rank [run:] [auto_pick:]`	Pick-order runs: rank the drops for the draft; `auto_pick:true` takes your turns for you.

What happens next depends on the run's loot rule — the cards below appear in the thread:

Loot posts (three, under the run card)	Any	🎲 Loot to roll · 🚫 Excluded by leader · 📦 Other drops. No buttons — they are the live lists; the leader moves a drop between them from ⋯ Console → loot → the item (Exclude / Restore / ⬆ Promote to roll) and the posts update in place.
Need/Greed card (one per drop)	Need/Greed	Need · Greed · Pass · Resolve now (leader). Live tally. Closes when everyone has answered, the leader resolves it, or after 15 minutes (silence = Pass).
Roll card	Any	The numbers, every round, ties marked ↺ and re-rolled, winner crowned.
Pick order cards	Pick order	When a leader proposes a hand-set order, an approval card with ✅ Approve / 🚫 Deny and a live tally pings the crew; the agreed order is posted at set-out. Auto (d100) orders stay sealed and are revealed when picks start.
Turn card	Pick order	Turn #3 — @Name, your pick. 5 left — a menu of drops, ➖ Pass, ⏭ Skip turn (leader), 📋 Rank. 15 minutes, then the bot picks from your ranking.
Wrap-up card	Group roll / Need-Greed	Every pending drop with its proposed winner, a countdown, Wish list, Change a drop… (pick a drop → Need / Greed / Pass; the leader instead gets Assign… / 📦 Leave unclaimed / 🎲 Re-roll, each with a reason), ⏱ +2 min (leader), 🎲 Roll the rest (leader) and Distribute (leader).
Loot won DM	Any	What you won, with a ✅ Received button per item — tap it after the in-game trade (the leader can too). The 24-hour reminder carries the same button.
Results card	Any	Who got what and why, attendance, value received, rank-ups 🌟, sherpa credits 🧭, badges 🎖. Posted to the channel when the run is Done.

Saving yourself the typing

Command	What it does
`/lfg template save run: name:`	Store a run setup you post often.
`/lfg template use name:`	Post it again — a prefilled form.
`/lfg template list` · `delete name:`	Manage them.
`/lfg series list` · `stop series:`	See and end weekly repeats. Runs already posted stay.
`/lfg sandbox [instance] [purge]`	A 🧪 rehearsal run that counts for nothing; `purge:true` deletes all of yours. Available once you have completed a run.

The DMs you may get

Each has its own switch under Me → DM preferences on the web. The bot never sends the same one twice.

DM	When
Signed up · Standby · Seat confirmed	Your seat, your standby place, or your promotion off standby.
Removed	A leader removed you — with their reason, word for word.
Rescheduled	The leader changed the time; a Withdraw button is on it.
Run call	Your reminder before departure (default 30 minutes).
The hunt is on	The run's threshold was reached.
Wheels up	The run set out — voice and thread links.
Invited	Accept / Decline.
On your watchlist	A run matching your subscription was posted.
Approve the pick order	The leader proposed a hand-set order.
Wrap-up is open	The 3-minute window started; your wish list stands unless you change it.
You won	What you won and a Received button for when you have it.
Still held	24 hours on, an item has not changed hands. Sent to you and the leader.
Rank-up · badge · sherpa milestone	You climbed.
Wrap-up pending	Leaders only: 3 and 12 hours after set-out if the run is not wrapped up; it wraps itself at 48.

If something goes wrong

Problem	What to do
Times are wrong	`/lfg timezone`. It is nearly always this.
No DMs from the bot	Enable direct messages from server members in your Discord privacy settings for the Kith server.
You cannot take a seat	The role is full — press it anyway to join standby — or the run is invite-only.
A command does not appear	Discord caches commands. Fully restart the client.
Anything else	Troubleshooting and glossary, or the Report bug button on the website.
