🧭 Troubleshooting and glossary
What to do when something on the board looks wrong, and what every word on it means.
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Times look wrong | Me → Home timezone. It is almost always this. |
| "Sign in to see your runs" | Your session expired. Click Sign in again. |
| The board says it is not answering | It could not reach the server. It retries on its own with a growing pause; give it a moment. |
| You cannot take a seat | The role is full (join standby instead), the run is invite-only, or it has already set out. |
| No DMs from the bot | Discord privacy: Allow direct messages from server members must be on for the Kith server. Then check Me → DM preferences. |
| You did not get the seat-open DM you subscribed to | Subscriptions fire at most once every 15 minutes, only for public runs, and never if you are already on that roster. |
| A run needs cancelling | Open it and click Call off. Everyone signed on is DM'd, so do this rather than just not showing up. |
| I was removed from a run | The leader's reason was DM'd to you word for word. Ask them. |
| The leader cannot Set out | A hand-set pick order has not been approved by a majority yet. The leader can Use auto roll instead. |
| I missed my pick | After 15 minutes the draft picked for you: your top ranked drop, or the highest-value drop left. Rank the drops beforehand and it will be what you wanted. |
| The wrap-up closed before I chose | Your wish list stood in for you; anything uncontested that you wished for is yours. |
| A drop went to the wrong person | Every assignment is on the run's timeline with its reason. Ask the leader; a re-roll or reassignment during the wrap-up window needs a written reason. |
| I never received an item I won | It is still marked held by the leader. Both of you get a reminder after 24 hours. |
| A run I was on never finished | An underway run wraps itself up after 48 hours; your attendance still counts. |
| The Discord command does not appear | Discord caches commands. Fully restart the client. |
| Something else | Use the Report bug button in the bottom-left corner — it goes straight to the people who can fix it. See Reporting a Bug. |
