🎨 Appearance

Themes, fonts, text size and icon packs — make the Workshop yours.

In the Kith Workshop desktop app

Appearance changes how the whole Workshop looks. Every setting applies across all tools at once and is remembered per account, so you set it once.

The settings
SettingWhat it does
ThemeThe colour scheme. Themed after places — Hoth, Naboo, Coruscant, Mustafar and others.
FontThe typeface used throughout.
Text sizeScales all text. Useful if you run the app on a second monitor across the room.
Icon packThe icon set used on the Home Screen cards and in tools.
Add & manage packsImport packs you have downloaded, and remove ones you no longer want.
Changing the look
  • From the Home Screen, open Appearance.
  • Pick a theme. It applies immediately — no confirm step, no restart.
  • Adjust font and text size to taste.
  • Choose an icon pack.
Tip: Change the theme and then open a tool you use a lot before deciding. Themes read very differently on a dense table than they do on the settings page.
Packs

Themes, fonts and icons ship as packs. Some come with the app; others are published separately.

  • Download the pack file.
  • Open AppearanceAdd & manage packs.
  • Import the file.
  • The pack appears in the relevant list.

Remove a pack from the same panel. Removing one you are currently using drops you back to a default.

Note: Packs are cosmetic only. They cannot change what a tool does, what data it reads, or what you have access to.
If something looks wrong
ProblemWhat to do
Text is clipped or overlappingText size is too large for that tool's layout. Step it down one.
A theme makes something unreadableSwitch back and report it — a colour that fails on a real tool is a bug worth fixing.
An imported pack does not appearIt is the wrong file type, or it failed to parse. Re-download it.
